Who creates the guides
Articles are published by the Savuko team, the product team behind Stamp Value Identifier & Scan. We write for collectors, people sorting inherited albums, occasional sellers, and anyone trying to understand an unfamiliar stamp from visible evidence.
How a guide is researched
Each guide begins with a specific reader task and a defined search intent. We compare the workflow against postal administrations, museums, national archives, established philatelic organizations, recognized catalogs, auction archives, and other primary or specialist references. Sources used for factual claims appear at the end of each article.
Identification and product comparisons separate observable features from interpretation. Value and condition articles distinguish visible evidence from estimates, and they direct readers to recent realized sales or qualified specialists when watermarks, gum, perforations, repairs, or physical examination could change the conclusion.
Images and attribution
We use original photography, app screenshots in dedicated product areas, generated editorial scenes, and properly licensed third-party photography. Third-party images include visible creator and license credits. App promotional artwork is not presented as neutral editorial evidence inside articles.
Updates and corrections
Every guide shows an updated date. We review product comparisons when store listings change, refresh references when postal authorities or philatelic organizations publish new guidance, and consolidate overlapping articles rather than leaving conflicting advice live.
